A Family Affair

Yesterday my Mom came to town and my sister and I spent the day with her! All of us being in the same place at the same time is a very rare occasion these days, so we were all really thankful for the quality time. We went to brunch at AOC Bistro in Park Slope first..

I love these boots! I've wanted a pair for a while now, but seeing them on her all day is tipping me over the edge..

After we got mani pedis we went to Brooklyn Charm in Williamsburg- by far the coolest place I've been to in a WHILE. We all made our own charm necklaces that have really significant meanings to us. It makes wearing jewelry so much more personal and meaningful. I think I'm going to start to look for the deep, personal parts of my apparel expression from now on and not focus on the the aesthetic appeal as much..but that's a train on a different track..

They also had a lot of pre made jewelry that was adorable and spectacular

I love this outfit. I just got these clogs and they are already the loves of my life! They make me so tall and are just so freaking hot. Chinatown was bustlin' the other day as you can see and I had great time traipsing around with Anna. We took another set of pictures after this that was kind of INCREDIBLE, but somehow they all got erased! Some faulty card reader or something, but it's ok, we're gonna re-do it when she gets back from vaycay.

Her name was Lola..

How cute is she!?! As you can see, I kinda have a thing for celebrity kids and Lourdes is no exception. She's helping her mom, Madonna, design Material Girl which is Madonna's junior collection in collaboration with Macy's. She's funky, still a bit green, but stylistically maturing quite nicely. Some of her leg warmers + tights + stripes + color explosions remind me of me at 14. I wasn't always this stylish, haha.

I went shopping yesterday and got a whole bunch of FABULOUS rompers, dresses, tops and shoes. I'm doing a shoot with my friend Anna today and I can't wait to post and share it all with you guys!
