I'm Gonna Teach You

(another post is necessary to catch the details of this outfit..especially this amazing DIY studded vest which you can hardly catch a glimpse of).

Sophia: DIY vest from flea market, leather and metal belt from flea,DIY floral shorts, vintage Chanel backpack

Mary: DIY crop top, yard sale skirt, thrifted shoes from Flea Market, backpack from Payless.

I made these shorts out of leggings while on an unpacking RaMpAgE! It's very strange, when I get in an unpacking or cleaning RaMpAgE! and come across a piece of clothing I don't like, I make it into something I like. I probably get 2 new pieces and 4 new craft projects every time I clean..haha. I heart this vintage backpack I found for 35 bucks..such a steal. I DIYed this kids vest with large cone studs and it's amazing..stay tuned.

Back to School! This is the outfit I wore to my first classes, last Monday. I cut the floral button-down skirt, which was super long. I've been wearing these shoes, from the Flea Market, everywhere. My whole outfit feels very Empire Records.

Figueroa, Figueroa

Mary: butterfly suit from Flea Market, yellow shirt from Target as skirt.
We loved our friend Erica's array of necklaces.

Sophia: Bathing suit and shorts from flea.

Last Sunday Mary and I hit up the flea market on Farifax and Melrose where we got some fabulous finds which we'll be sprinkling throughout the blog in the coming days. These fabulous bathing suits fit us so well (especically Mary) and were 5 dollars each. Loves it.

Then we went to the beach in Malibu with a few friends. It was glorious.

If You Ever Leave Me Lonely

Boy, my heart would be crushed.
Mary: gifted lace top, H&M skirt, vintage green cowboy boots from Avenue Antiques.
our "patio"
Sophia: DIY lace shirt, DIY shredded tank, second hand black short, Urban outfitters tights and shoes.
working on an "under the sea" bathroom

We wore these outfits to go chill with some friends. The matchy-matching was unintentional, yet welcomed. As we spend more and more time exclusively with each other, we'll def synch up even more. We already finish each other's sentences and speak in code. It's only a matter of time before we communicate telepathically. Can't wait.

Xmas lights were our only light source for many nights. We had an extended sleepover, one which spanned 7 nights and the country.
